I’ve been a RN for over 10 years, and I created Off the Beat Nurse to help Nurses lead successful careers in travel nursing.
Like so many nurses, the stress of working as a staff nurse was taking a toll on me mentally and physically. Was there such a thing as a nursing specialty that gave generous time off, paid well, and fulfilled my desire for adventure? Travel nursing ended up being the answer to that question.
In 2017 I decided to take the plunge and started my first travel nurse assignment and I was hooked. It changed my life, and I’m here to share with you all the tips I learned along the way.
